Here and now
After a lengthy trip overseas to many an exotic country I have returned to my home in Cairns. Well not actually to my home because I don’t currently have one but I consider Cairns to be my home and for now thats good enough. I wandered through endless galleries and saw innumerable master pieces. I saw Warhol and Pollock, Goya and Picasso, Rubens and Gainsburgh, Yves Klien and Gorky, I walking in the footsteps of Darwin and Dali and I hope I have taken something from them all.
Now I step through a new doorway and see a vast emptiness that is the future before me, that emptiness will soon be replaced with the slightly predictable and very comforting surety of what will be. I will return to JUTE and continue the wonderful work of building sets for their upcoming productions. The rest of the year will no doubt hold surprises that are unthought of as yet but will be equally as engaging.
Its great to be back where i can walk my dog on the beach, hang out with wonderful friends and enjoy being still.
