About Me

What I like to do is make things. I design and make furniture, build sets for theatre productions and also enjoy creating my own art. The love of making things stems back to my childhood and has been an ongoing pursuit all of my life. During my working life I have had the opportunity to gain skills in many trade based industries. This has allowed me to gain a broad understanding of many materials and their applications. There is evidence of this wide knowledge base in the items I have made over the years. The enjoyment of learning new skills and the use of materials continues to this day and in the past few years I have acquired the ability of being able to work in metal. These skills allow me to have flexibility when presented with designs for theatre production sets, furniture commissions or creating my own art.
